When I was little I used to garden with my mom 🙂 I would like to garden with my daughter, too.

If you are like me, you may also want to learn about gardening your food.

And if you are like me, you don’t know where to start.

I saw the place to start thanks to JCR.

It teaches you when to plant what. Pretty easy. 🙂

I’ve been playing with this the past couple of summers. Herbs are simple, and a great place to start! Be careful of oregano and mint, which can take over. Cucumbers, squashes and tomatoes are pretty basic, too. Just remember that heirloom tomatoes taste much better, but are more susceptible to pests and fussier to grow. Cherry tomatoes are easiest. I haven’t tried beans but I’m told they are easy, too. HAVE FUN!!
